DICOM Setup Instructions for an Ultrasound Machine

To set up a DICOM service titled "BabyFlix" with the specified parameters on your ultrasound machine, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access DICOM Configuration Settings

1. Power on your ultrasound machine.
2. Navigate to the main menu. This is typically done through the touch screen or control panel.
3. Locate the DICOM settings or Network settings menu. This might be under `Setup`, `Network`, `System`, or similar options depending on the make and model of your machine.

Step 2: Create a New DICOM Service

1. Select the option to add a new DICOM service or server. This is usually labeled as `Add`, `New`, or a similar option.
2. Enter the Service Title:
   - Title: `BabyFlix`

Step 3: Configure DICOM Parameters

1. Set the AE Title:
   - AE Title: `BABYFLIX_DICOM`
2. Configure the Network Settings:
   - IP Address: `3.230.95.24`
   - Port: `11112`

Step 4: Configure Image Transfer Settings

1. Set the Image Format:
   - Image Format: `uncompressed`
2. Configure Cine Settings:
   - For 2D and 4D cine images:
   - Set to `Multiframe`

Step 5: Save and Test the Configuration

1. Save the configuration changes.
2. Return to the main menu.
3. Test the connection to ensure that the ultrasound machine can communicate with the DICOM service. There should be an option to `Ping`, `Test`, or `Verify` the connection within the DICOM settings.

Step 6: Validate DICOM Functionality

1. Capture an image or a cine sequence using the ultrasound machine.
2. Send the image to the DICOM service "BabyFlix".
3. Verify that the image is received correctly by the DICOM service in the specified format and cine settings.

Troubleshooting Tips

- If the connection test fails, double-check the IP address, port, and AE Title for typos.
- Ensure that there are no network issues or firewalls blocking the communication between the ultrasound machine and the DICOM service.
- Confirm that the settings for image format and cine type are supported by both the ultrasound machine and the DICOM server.
